An Introduction to Leaded Stained Glass
Saturday, 14 April repeated on Sunday, 15 April

Anne Ferguson and Morag Tweedie return for a weekend of individual courses starting on Friday evening with the chance for participants to explore colour and collage. On Saturday and Sunday two courses will run alongside each other: Introduction to Leaded Stained Glass, produce a small coloured glass panel and Printing without a Press, experiment with mono and relief printing techniques.

An Introduction to Leaded Stained Glass
Saturday 14th and same course is repeated on Sunday 15th April 

Produce your own small individual coloured glass panel in this one day introduction to traditional leaded glass techniques, including cutting, leading, soldering and puttying.

No previous experience required.  

£75  All materials will be provided.  Tea & coffee provided, please bring a packed lunch.

Beginners Sewing Weekend
Saturday and Sunday, 14 and 15 April in the Old Brewery, 10.00am to 4.30pm

Please note, this course is also running on 9 & 10 June. You may also be interested in the Improvers Sewing Masterclass.

This course is suitable for complete beginners or those who are looking to get back into sewing after a long break. This course is designed to give you the confidence to start your own sewing projects at home. You will learn the basic of sewing including how to operate and navigate your way around a sewing machine, read and understand a basic sewing pattern, pinning and cutting out of fabric, using basic sewing tools and construction of projects.

£100 — includes tea & coffee and most materials. Please bring a packed lunch each day.

A Weekend of Colour in Cromarty
Anne Ferguson and Morag Tweedie return for a weekend of individual courses starting on Friday evening with the chance for participants to explore colour and collage. On Saturday and Sunday two courses will run alongside each other: Introduction to Leaded Stained Glass, produce a small coloured glass panel and Printing without a Press, experiment with mono and relief printing techniques.

Explore printing techniques without using a press — starting with mono-printing learn how to take one off prints directly from the working surface. Following on learn how to print using lino blocks — transfer your design onto the lino block then cut and make a series of colour prints.

No previous experience required. 

£65  All materials will be provided.  Tea & coffee provided, please bring a packed lunch.

Come to the monthly market in the Victoria Hall for local produce, meat and fish, baked goods, crafts. Lunches are provided by a different community group each month.
