Gluren bij de Buren ('Peeking in on the neighbours') is a concept borrowed from the Netherlands. A local community of like-minded people open their houses for an afternoon of performances — music, story-telling, comedy sketches.
Programme for 2017 not yet available.
Regular Sunday morning worship is held in two Cromarty churches:
Cromarty Parish Church of Scotland (West Church) at 11.45am.
As this is the FIFTH Sunday of the month, the three Scottish Episcopal churches on the Black Isle will hold a joint service in St Andrew's Church, Fortrose at 11.00am, followed by a bring-and-share lunch.
Sunday Club for children at St Regulus' Church — launched last Sunday afternoon —- will now meet at the usual time of 9.45 on Sunday mornings.
The Club will run again this Sunday (29 October) at 9.45am even though there will not be a service at St Regulus. So just come for a family time — 30 minutes of song, story and drama plus there will be teas, coffee and juice at the end — all children and parents welcome!
