Correspondence Road drains + Burn at the Denny: Bobby Hogg had written noting that the pipe for the burn is inadequate to take flood waters. There are also drains blocked on Bank St and Barkly St. These will be raised at the John Duncan meeting.Cromarty Primary: John Wood copied to the a letter he had written on behalf of the School Board to express concern that THC has divided SE funding for minor building works equally amongst schools – rather than allocating on need. DA noted that following Education Committee comment the distribution of funds will be revisited.
Access to MacFarquhars Bed: Martin Gostwick had written highlighting some access issues on this route:
It was noted that the CC had developed plans for this path – but at present had no funding. AS will ask Pete Clunas whether this is part of the Core Paths network – and if so the implications of this. Noticeboard: Marcel Gommers had written to the CC outlining his management of the community noticeboard. CC members were very happy with this and passed on thanks to Marcel for his work in maintaining the board information. Clumsy’s Close: Community councillors had received representations complaining about this title for the development adjacent to the Royal Hotel. After discussion it was agreed that AS would write to THC recommending ‘Admiral Napier House’ as an alternative. |
