01 November 2018A smile and a shoebox

Cromarty Primary School children smile as they show off the shoe boxes they have prepared for the Blythswood 25th annual Shoe Box Appeal. They were collected from the school today by Pam Thompson who organises the group of 'shoe box ladies' who work throughout the year wrapping boxes and collecting (and knitting) the many items that are used to fill them.

This year 158 boxes from Cromarty will go to Romania where they will bring happiness to those in need. To find out more about the shoe box appeal, go to the Blythswood website and click on 'Appeal' to see a short animated video for children.
