Cromarty News

01 November 2018Backhaven and 'It's not over till the hairy man sings'

Those who have attended the Murder Mystery Plays during Cromarty's Crime & Thrillers weekends will recognise the character portrayed by writer Theo Seller and other locals of the fictitious Highland fishing village of Blackhaven. They now feature in a series of radio-style dramas as 20 minute podcasts. The first episode, 'It's not over till the hairy man sings' has just been released.

In addition to the podcasts, a complete backstory of the village can be found in the new Blackhaven website. Here you can meet the locals, read the latest news in the Blackhaven Gazette, check out suggestions of things to see and do in the village and find links to the podcasts. It can only be described as a tour de farce
