Father Mel Langille led the service of remembance this morning at the Cromarty War Memorial to mark 100 years since the signing of the peace treaty ending World War One. He was assisted by young pipers Cody Benjamin and Findlay McNaught.

Wreaths were laid on behalf of the British Legion, Cromarty & District Community Council, churches and local service organisations. Individuals also went forward to lay their poppies on the steps of the memorial.
