A naval visit to the Firth

The first cruise ship doesn't arrive in Invergordon until Thursday, but we had a preview of the summer 'ship parade' when HMS Sutherland sailed out of the Cromarty Firth this morning.

The naval frigate had docked at Admiralty Pier on Friday, the ship's first visit to her adopted home region for four years. The vessel had sailed from Plymouth where she had undergone a £35 million refit and will be testing the new weapons and systems over the next few months.
