Regatta Day

The shone shone on the Cromarty Boat Club's Regatta Day — which was good news for the spectators at the afternoon Raft Race, but frustrating for the racing yachts temporarily becalmed out in the Firth. The bathtub raft was the clear winner of its race, easily outdistancing pirates, wrestlers and motley crews of the other six rafts.

Down by the harbour, the Cromarty & Resolis Lifeboat Guild did a steady trade in filled rolls, homebaking, coffee, tea and RNLI souvenirs.

Thank you to everyone who supported both events, and a special 'thank you' to the Cromarty Football Club for organising the ever-popular Raft Race.
