The TV digital switchover is coming to Cromarty in October. To help everyone prepare for this event, there will be a drop-in clinic tomorrow, 23 March in the Victoria Hall from 10.00am to 1.00pm. If you have any questions about the suitability of your current television or aerial, want guidance on new purchases or information on help available for the elderly and vulnerable, come along.
Depending on where you live in Cromarty, your (aerial) signal will come directly from the Rosemarkie transmitter or from the Cromarty relay transmitter in Duke Street. (This will determine the number of channels available to your address). The switchover will take place in two stages with BBC2 analogue switching off on 6 October and the remaining analogue channels on 20 October.
