Another Cromarty facility under threat

First to go was our local branch of the Bank of Scotland. Next under threat was the post office, then the library. Now, the Cromarty police station is 'in the firing line'.

The Northern Police Board will consider the future of 26 police stations in the Highlands and Islands at a meeting on Friday. Some are marked for closure, others for reduced opening hours. For details, see article on the BBC Highlands & Islands website.
