Help needed to keep Courthouse open

The Cromarty Courthouse Museum needs volunteers to keep it open during the summer season. Helpers are required two hours a week to work in the museum shop and greet visitors. If you are interested, you can learn more from Anne Short by phoning 01381 600343 or by sending her an email .

The Courthouse is one of many Cromarty businesses hoping to attract visitors during the coming summer tourist season. Following a public meeting held last September, a 'Tourism Open Day' is scheduled for Tuesday, 22 March so that businesses and service providers can exchange information on what Cromarty has to offer. It is hoped that details on opening times, charges and other information will be collated into a form avalable as an insert into the Cromarty leaflet, a poster on the community notice board with details on the Cromarty Live website. For more information about the Open Day, contact Vivienne Plampton on 01381 600551 or Caroline Vawdrey by email.
