A treat for junior fundraisers

Five primary 3 pupils from Cromarty Primary School had a guided tour around the Invergordon lifeboat to show them how money raised for the RNLI is put to work.

The lads (Gregor, Aiden, Jamie, Billy-James and Alexander) — with the help of family and friends —collected jumble and baking and sold raffle tickets to raise more than £900 for the RNLI at a sale this morning in Cromarty's Sutor Creek Café.

In addition to the Invergordon lifeboat, the Kessock inshore lifeboat also made an appearance, much to the delight of the young organisers and their customers. Thanks to everyone for their effort and support and to those who made generous donations to the raffle.
