Kick off the first day of the Olympic year by doing something fun, challenging and a bit different. Entries are now open for the third annual Cromarty Splash & Dash on Sunday 1st January 2012.
The last event attracted an incredible 51 locals and visitors, many in fancy dress or wacky bathing gear, keen to run into the chilly waters of the Cromarty Firth, providing an entertaining spectacle for the 300 plus cheering onlookers!
Participants can choose to only ‘Splash’, only ‘Dash’ — choosing either the 3km low level Mini Dash or more challenging 6km Sutor Mad Dash — or for the really hardy, both ‘Splash & Dash’! There is no age limit, although those 10 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult on a one-to-one basis.
