Snow, harvest and the clocks go back

If there was any doubt about the changing seasons, this afternoon's brief flurry of snow was a cold reminder. Along with the harvesting of Black Isle potatoes coming to an end and the changing of the clocks this weekend, autumn is undeniably here (with winter on the horizon).

Harvest Thanksgiving will be celebrated in both Cromarty churches this Sunday with services in St Regulus' Scottish Episcopal Church at 9.45am and the Church of Scotland (West Church) at 11.45am. There will be a soup and pudding Harvest Supper in the West Church at 7.00pm, followed by entertainment with Wendy's guitar group and the Sunday Funday children.
