A frosty and festive start to December

Cromarty is getting in a festive mood as a frosty December brings the Film Festival and sparkling shop windows.

Two new shops opened yesterday on Church Street to tempt Christmas shoppers. Emmy and Jon's Cheese House (left) offers a tasty selection of local and continental cheeses, oatcakes, chutneys and a range of other delicatessen items. The shop is open daily from 9.00am.

The Christmas Pop Up Shop in The Pantry premises is stocked with a variety of craft and food items made and supplied by more than a dozen local artists and craftspeople. The shop is open seven days a week from 10.00am for two weeks only.

The Emporium, Cromarty Bakery and Cromarty Post Office (left to right) are dressed with sparkling window displays to entice local and visiting customers. Why shop further afield when you can find so much in Cromarty: books, crafts, jewellery, toys, stocking fillers and delectable baked goods?
