For the third week, diggers and other rock-moving equipment continue their task of repairing and re-enforcing the Reeds Path from the corner of Clunes House to the water treatment works at the 'Targets'.
Sections of the popular walking path to the South Sutor were severely eroded by storm damage in December 2012 and December 2013. Imported rock armour and large boulders removed from along the shore at low tide have been used to shore-up the path. The damaged shoreline below the western end of the path is being repaired and strengthened. Because of the danger of the pipeline to the pumping station being exposed, Scottish Water has joined with Highland Council in funding the project.
