This morning at the Cromarty Arms, Kenny and Helen Macfarlane were presented an award of appreciation for their long-term support of the RNLI. They were given their framed certificate by Cromarty and Resolis Lifeboat Branch chairman Sheila Bartlett in recognition of their valuable support of the lifeboat service.
The Macfarlane family (including daughter Denise) has supported the RNLI for many years by having a collection box in the Cromarty Arms, holding quizzes to raise money and hosting regular meetings of the local fundraising branch. On Saturday, 25 October Helen will be catering her third Curry Supper in the Victoria Hall, a poplular annual event to raise funds.
At the meeting long-service badges were also presented to Cromarty & Resolis Branch treasurer Margaret Pern (silver) and secretary Kristina Dupar (bronze).
