Busy weekend in Cromarty

Dozens of cars and trailers lined Shore Street and the Links this morning in anticipation of a full day of Black Isle Sea Kayak Symposium activities. Unfortunately, the sunny, calm weather earlier in the week was replaced today with showers and strong, easterly winds.

The Cromarty Community Market and Doors Open Day programme also took place today — along with a workshop in wood sculpture led by Leon Patchett in the Stables and a painting exhibition by Mary Maclean in the White House.
