Throughout the autumn, members of the Cromarty craft group have been knitting squares of Rowan wool to make a blanket which will be raffled to raise funds for the group's running costs. Six strips of eight squares — each in a different pattern — are stitched together and edged with a cable trim (finished size 127x160cm).
This blanket is on display at The Emporium before it is raffled at the December Cromarty Community Market on 12 December. Raffle tickets cost £1 for a strip of five and are available now at The Emporium or at the market on the day of the raffle.
Update: Dawn Balharry's raffle ticket was drawn at the December market.
