New Year's Eve 'Procession of the Cheeses'

Friends, neighbours and customers from further afield joined Cheese House proprietors Jon and Emmy Palmer to 'move shop' today. Helpers arrived at the former Church Street premises ready to load trailers, cars and wheelbarrows with furniture, refrigeration equipment and LOTS of cheese and process along the High Street to the Old Police Station on Bank Street. An undertaking that could have required the assistance of a professional removal company turned into a Cromarty 'event'. Young and old joined in shifting the boxes through the door of the old police office (soon to be Cheese House) and enjoyed mulled wine, cheese and nibbles afterwards - concluding with an appropriately named sketch 'The Cheese-Rolling Pirates of Blackhaven' performed by Jeremy Price and Theo Seller.
