The Cheese House opens garden for outdoor theatre

Jon and Emmy from The Cheese House welcomed people into their garden for an outdoor theatrical performance earlier this week. Alex Wright (Flanagan Collective) and Phil Grainger (Gobledigook Theatre) presented a poetic, contemporary take on the ancient story of Orpheus which fitted perfectly with the informal setting. Though the day had seen glorious sunshine, blankets and a fire were still required as the evening drew on —- something to consider for the future as this was the first of a series of offerings.

Next up are play-readings of short scripts by local writers on Sunday, 28 August.                                                             JP
