Application made for upgrading of Cromarty Harbour

Cromarty Harbour Trust has applied for planning permission and listed building consent to upgrade the town's slowly deteriorating historic harbour. The £100,000+ project includes "works to demolish and replace timber harbour sheds, replace railings on west pier, upgrade electricity supply and lighting, provide seating, interpretive panels, new ladders, and a crane/derrick".
