It's all sunshine and flowers in Cromarty this weekend with the second 'Open Garden's event and the third exhibition of flowers and art in the East Church.
On Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am–4.00pm 30 'hidden gardens' in Cromarty are open to view. With a map obtained at The Hub (East Bellevue on Church Street), garden enthusiasts can walk through — or peer over walls or fences to view — gardens of all sizes and styles from pocket corners to those almost an acre in size. Entry is by map (£3 for one day, £5 for both days).
Also this weekend, and continuing throughout the week is the 'Art and Flowers' exhibition in the East Church with botanical artwork by Julie Price and her pupils and flower displays by local arrangers under the direction of Evelyn Wilson. Entry is free, but donations are welcome.
