Gala Week concludes with a Finale in the Victoria Park

Despite the heavy shower that rained on the parade from the Links to the Victoria Park, a large crowd came to celebrate the final day of Cromarty Gala Week.

While the RNLI served lunches-to-go indoors, a succession of musical performances and events keep people entertained outdoors: highland dancing, wacky races, welly throwing and tug-of-war. There were also craft stalls, a barbecue, bar and pancake stall to raise money for good causes.

The Gala committee and wider Cromarty community are to be commended for providing a week of varied, famiy-friendly and well-organised activities.
